REGISTERED COUNSELLOR
Sarah Jacobson
I am a qualified and registered counsellor with lived experience of the ongoing challenges faced by whānau affected by Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Through this, I have a deep understanding of how difficult and exhausting it can be to navigate the health system and pursue a diagnosis. I also recognise how friends and family may struggle to know how to help, which can leave you feeling isolated and alone.
I offer a warm, relaxed, and genuine approach as an integrative, holistic, trauma-informed counsellor. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or being misunderstood. I endeavour to create an on-line environment where you are truly seen, heard, and understood. I journey alongside you as you process and grieve, offering support, encouragement, and practical strategies to help you live a meaningful life, even in the midst of ongoing challenges.
