We are a small not-for-profit organisation grounded by lived-experience based in Taamaki Makaurau Aotearoa, with some nationwide online offerings. All our offerings are free!

With small groups* of four participants we can be responsive to your experiences, interests and dynamic needs.

*Disclaimer— these are community based peer groups with opportunities to explore creativity for wellbeing and connection, not clinical art therapy groups.


IN-PERSON GROUPS

Connecting through Creativity

Explore connecting with yourself and others through creative experiences. This is a supportive and relaxed environment with experimentation and play being key elements. No previous familiarity of the arts is needed, with focus on the process of meaning-making rather than aesthetic outcome. 

Our facilitator will guide you through different creative mediums and can offer options and adaptations for the experiences.

Contact us and we’ll send out a sign-up form for you to share your preferences and needs for the group.

  • Sessions will include opportunities to play with: 

    • Pastels, paints, inks 

    • Modelling clay 

    • Natural materials 

    • Collage 

    • Storytelling and creative writing 


    WHEN:

    Each group will meet weekly for six weeks.

    • Emerald: Thursday's 6:30pm— 7:30pm from March 27th

    • Magenta: Sunday's 2:30pm— 3:30pm starts April, dates tbc

    D*list Community Hub, 322 New North Road, Kingsland, Auckland.

    About this space: 

    • Wheelchair and mobility aide accessible. 

    • Air purifiers. 

    • Accessible car parks. 

    • Will be set-up in alignment with your access and comfort needs. 


ONLINE GROUPS

Rest and Imagination

Lean into soothing and replenishment through creative practices. This is a gently playful online environment weaving elements of compassion and curiosity. No previous experience of the arts is needed, with focus on the process of meaning-making rather than aesthetic outcome. 

Our facilitator will guide you through different creative mediums and can offer options and adaptations for the experiences. 

A creative care pack with simple to set-up materials will be couriered to you.
